K2 Expedition Pakistan
The K-2 is Pakistan’s most prized possession. K-2 is situated near the Baltoro Glacier in the extreme north of Baltistan (The small Tibet) near the Sino-Pakistani border. It rises to a terrifying height of 28,250 feet (8,611 metres) like a pyramid. In fact, the K2 serves as the boundary between the two nations.
Not only because it is the second-highest peak in the world, but also because many mountaineers from different parts of the world have attempted to conquer it many times in succession, the peak has attained tremendous prominence. To reach its base camp, one must traverse the perilous and adventurous terrain of Baltoro, which can only be accomplished in phases and requires determination.
