Fairy Meadows Trek & Hunza Tour is combination of walking and sightseeing holiday in Pakistan. Fairy Meadow is a verdant plateau located at the base of Nanga Parbat on the western side of the Himalayas. The name Fairy Meadows comes from the notion that this verdant plateau is the fairy realm. This legendary name, Fairy Meadows, was bestowed onto the locals by western tourists.
Fairy Meadow offers magnificent views of Nanga Parbat, the highest mountain in Pakistan and the Himalayas at 8,125 metres. (9th highest worldwide) Nanga Parbat is a Persian term that translates to “Naked Mountain”; the locals name it “Diamer” (Monarch of the God). It is also known as “Killer Mountain” by mountaineers, as more than 40 climbers have died attempting to scale it throughout expeditions. From Islamabad to Raikot Bridge along Karakorum Highway is approximately 540 kilometres (1400 m).
Where native Jeeps will transport you to the settlement of Tatto. It takes one and a half hours to drive from Raikot Bridge to Tatto, the final village (2900 m). On the ascent to Tatto, there are a number of photo opportunities, including the most magnificent vista of Karakorum Highway and River Indus from one of the steep turns on the road. It would be a wonderful experience to spend the night in a set camping area or in one of the traditionally constructed wooden huts with a fantastic view of the Nanga Parbat’s north face.
Our second trip to Hunza Valley is ideal for nature enthusiasts. Hunza culture and pure excitement. Hunza is an isolated mountain nation.

Day
01: Arrival Islamabad
Arrival at airport and transfer to hotel.Overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.

02: Islamabad to Chilas
After breakfast we will leave for Chilas via kaghan Naran and Babusar Pass. Overnight stay in hotel at Chilas.
Day
03: Chilas to Fairy Meadows
After breakfast we will departure for Fairy Meadows, we will transfer to the mountain jeep at Raikot bridge for further drive to Tatto village on the narrow Jeep track. Arrive in Tatto village and start trek to Fairy Meadows, Arrive at Fairy Meadows in afternoon. Evening to walk around, overnight stay in huts at Fairy Meadows.

04: Rest day at Fairy Meadows
Short Walks around Fairy Meadow Morning light brings the surprise view of Nanga Parbat massif from the campsite. After breakfast. We commence short walks around Fairy Meadows. Overnight stay in huts at Fairy Meadows.

05: Fairy Meadows to Nanga parbat Base camp
After breakfast trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp and trek back to Fairy Meadows. An ideal day’s walk to the base camp of Nanga Parbat. We walk through the pine tree covered valley with Raikot glacier flowing on our left side and the summit of Nanga Parbat straight ahead. Overnight stay in huts at Fairy Meadows.

06 Fairy meadows to Karimabad Hunza
After breakfast trek back to Tatto village and drive to Karimabad Hunza. From there we will board on jeeps up to Railkot Bridge (KKH) and onward travelling with air-conditioned coach to Karimabad on arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel at Karimabad

07: Rest day at Karimabad Hunza
After breakfast we will visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Karimabad local handicraft bazzar for shopping, Channel walk, in the evening to Duiker for sunset. From Duiker village you can see many snow covered peak over 6000 meters which are Rakaposhi 7,788m, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, Ulter Peak, Hunza Peak and Lady Finger, We will have dinner at Duiker and drive back to Karimabad. Overnight stay in hotel at Karimabad

08: Karimabad to Khunjerab Pass
After breakfast we will drive for full day excursion to Khunjerab Pass (5000m) en route Short stay at Attaabad Lake for fhotography and continue our journey to Khunjerab Pass and drive back to Gulmit. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Gulmit

09: Gulmit to Chilas
After breakfast we will drive for full day on Karakoram Highway, enjoying fascinating views of Karakoram Peaks from a different angle, Overnight stay at Chilas
Day
10: Chilas to Islamabad
After breakfast we will drive via Babusar pass to Islamabad. We start early in the morning, to cover the 12 hours long drive. Short stay in Naran for lunch, by evening we shall reach Islamabad. Overnight stay at Islamabad.

11: Rest day at Islamabad
After breakfast we will full day sightseeing of twin city Islamabad/Rawalpindi. Rest of time reserve for shopping.

12: Islamabad to Flight out
Transfer to airport for flight back home.
